About
Sarah kinda just fell in love. Like many kids, she grew up baking with her mom, spending hours in the kitchen making giant holiday cookie boxes to share with family and friends. It was a lot of work, but the joy she felt handing out those boxes stayed with her. At the time, she had no idea baking would become her future.
After high school, her sister encouraged her to leave their small town and move to the Bay Area. When asked what she liked to do, Sarah’s answer was simple: “I don’t know… I like baking.” That answer ended up shaping her entire path. She enrolled at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco—a short, seven-month course that became a huge stepping stone in her career. There, she fell in love with the artistry of creating beautiful desserts (and eating them too).
In 2007, Sarah officially began her pastry career, working in the restaurant industry under some of the top chefs who helped define San Francisco’s fine dining scene. She quickly advanced through the ranks, eventually becoming an Executive Pastry Chef and leading a talented team of pastry cooks.
Later, she took on a new challenge as a Pastry Chef Instructor at a college. Teaching students deepened her love for sharing knowledge and mentoring others—it was incredibly rewarding to watch their skills and confidence grow.
When her family relocated to Pennsylvania, Sarah embraced a new chapter. She began doing small-scale meal prep for local couples with special dietary needs and soon joined the team at Bolete in Bethlehem. After a year, she felt the pull to build something of her own again. The local farmers market community welcomed her with open arms, inspiring her to grow her business and reminding her that her passion—and her products—are worth sharing. Now, Sarah is excited for what’s ahead: to keep growing, creating, and teaching—wherever this journey leads next.
